Workforce mobility software provider Graebel Companies and extended-stay accommodations platform Reside Worldwide have combined under common ownership, backed by Canadian private equity firm Westbridge Capital, to create an integrated tech stack for managing corporate relocations and temporary housing at scale. The deal brings together Reside's 3Sixty corporate housing marketplace — providing access to more than 3.4 million vetted accommodations across 60-plus countries — with Graebel's strategic advisory and mobility technology platform, which serves clients in 190 countries.
The Platform Play
At the center of the combination is the integration of Reside's proprietary 3Sixty marketplace with Graebel's existing technology and managed-services infrastructure. For enterprise operators and travel managers, that means a single interface connecting workforce deployment decisions to short- and extended-stay accommodations sourcing — a workflow that has historically required stitching together siloed vendors, OTA bookings, and relocation management company (RMC) portals. Lee Curtis, co-founder of Reside, framed the opportunity directly: bringing 3Sixty together with Graebel's platform "will simplify a critical part of the employee journey, helping people settle in and succeed more quickly." The combined entity will operate both Graebel and Reside as distinct brands during integration, with Ron Dunlap serving as CEO of the combined companies and Curtis joining the leadership team.
Why Operators Should Care
For hospitality tech buyers — particularly those managing extended-stay inventory, corporate housing supply chains, or workforce housing programs — the merger signals a broader consolidation trend in the corporate accommodations segment. Reside's existing strategic relationship with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, under the "Reside, a Wyndham Residence" brand, gives the combined entity a direct pipeline into branded extended-stay inventory alongside its marketplace supply. That dual-channel model — proprietary platform plus flagged-hotel network — mirrors the hybrid approach gaining traction across the digital-ordering and delivery platform space, where aggregators increasingly seek owned supply alongside marketplace volume to defend take rates and margin.
The corporate housing and workforce mobility market has faced persistent fragmentation, with HR tech, RMC platforms, and accommodations marketplaces operating largely independently. Graebel's existing infrastructure — built on decades of managed-services delivery and a global partner network — gives the 3Sixty platform an enterprise-grade distribution layer that pure-play accommodations tech has struggled to replicate organically. Westbridge President and CEO Mike Meekins noted the firm sees the Graebel-Reside combination as "the first step on that path, with additional opportunities on the horizon to reduce friction and improve experiences across the employee journey," signaling that further bolt-on acquisitions or integrations are likely.
What's Next
For hospitality technology vendors — from property management system providers to channel managers serving extended-stay properties — the emergence of a scaled, vertically integrated corporate housing platform creates both a distribution opportunity and a competitive pressure point. Properties already listed on the 3Sixty marketplace gain potential exposure to Graebel's enterprise client base; those outside the network may find themselves at a disadvantage as large employers consolidate preferred-supplier programs. The integration timeline and API connectivity roadmap have not been disclosed, but both companies emphasized continuity for existing clients and supplier relationships during the transition.
