Palmer Digital Group has been selected as an approved supplier of outdoor digital menu board systems for Burger King franchisees across the United States and Canada. The partnership allows franchisees to purchase PDG's single- and triple-panel outdoor digital menu board systems as they modernize drive-thru operations. Installations are already underway, with the first locations opening in Wisconsin and approximately 18 orders already placed. PDG expects roughly 30 Burger King locations to be operational by the end of the third quarter and approximately 50 by the end of 2026.

Installation Flexibility Burger King franchisees can choose between professional installation by PDG's nationwide team or self-installation after receiving training. PDG developed its menu board systems with modularity and ease of installation in mind, recognizing that many franchise groups maintain their own experienced construction teams. "This partnership is another validation of what we've built over the last several years," said Chuck Lewis, President of Palmer Digital Group. "Being selected by one of the world's most recognized QSR brands reinforces our reputation for delivering reliable, innovative outdoor digital menu board solutions that are designed to last while making installation and long-term ownership easier for operators." Training for self-installation is led by Patrick Profitt, PDG's Vice President of Project Management and Field Operations, through comprehensive online sessions that guide installation teams through the deployment process.

Full-Service Support PDG provides a complete range of deployment services including site surveys, concrete foundations, conduit installation, high- and low-voltage electrical work, trenching, indoor display installation and ongoing break-fix support. The systems integrate LG 49-inch outdoor displays into PDG's modular outdoor digital menu board enclosures, allowing individual components to be serviced or replaced without replacing the entire structure. "Our menu board systems were engineered with modularity and ease of installation in mind," Lewis said. "Some franchisees prefer to have our experienced installation crews manage the entire project, while others already have qualified teams in place. By supporting both approaches and providing comprehensive training, we're giving operators the flexibility to choose the model that works best for their business."

Market Opportunity With approximately 6,000 Burger King restaurants across the U.S. and Canada eligible to purchase through the approved supplier program, the agreement creates substantial long-term growth opportunities for Palmer Digital Group. The company has established itself as a provider of outdoor digital menu boards supported by in-house manufacturing, engineering expertise and comprehensive installation capabilities.

Why It Matters

For QSR operators, this approval signals expanded options for modernizing drive-thru technology through a supplier with proven capabilities in modular design and installation flexibility. The tiered approach to installation—allowing franchisees to leverage existing construction teams—addresses a practical barrier that often slows technology adoption in franchise systems.
