New POS Integration Targets Hotel Dining Convenience Innspire, a hospitality technology provider, has integrated its digital guest engagement platform with Toast Point of Sale to enable mobile food-and-beverage ordering across hotel properties. The integration allows guests to browse menus, view specials, and place orders through a hotel's branded mobile app, web portal, QR codes, or in-room tablets. Orders flow directly into Toast POS, reducing manual steps for staff while accelerating kitchen workflows. Hotels can offer ordering across multiple outlets—in-room dining, pool service, lounges, rooftop venues, and beach service—without adding operational complexity. Guests maintain the ability to order from anywhere on the property without waiting in line or calling staff.

Unified Guest Experience Innspire's platform integrates F&B ordering with other guest services including mobile check-in, digital room keys, messaging, and concierge—all accessible through a single branded interface. The company says this consolidation improves both guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. "Hotels are looking for technology that works together seamlessly behind the scenes," said Rick Hertan, Director of Hotels at Toast. "We're pleased to welcome Innspire to the Toast Partner Ecosystem to help hotels connect Toast POS with the digital experiences guests use every day. The integration reduces manual steps for staff while ensuring orders move quickly and accurately from the guest's device to the kitchen." Announced August 18, the integration represents Innspire's expansion within the Toast Partner Ecosystem, which includes over 200 technology providers. "Today's guests expect the same convenience from hotel dining that they enjoy in their everyday digital experiences," said Anne Frye, President of Innspire. "Our integration with Toast enables hotels to meet those expectations while creating new opportunities to increase F&B revenue. By making ordering simple and accessible from anywhere on the property, hotels can enhance guest satisfaction while streamlining service for their operations teams."

Why It Matters

Hotels increasingly compete on guest convenience and ancillary revenue.

Mobile-first ordering taps both—reducing service friction while capturing F&B spend that might otherwise go untapped. Innspire's integration with a major POS player signals that unified, guest-facing platforms are becoming table stakes for mid-to-large properties seeking to optimize digital touchpoints.
